HK Jewels forays into West Bengal with KISNA Store at Darjeeling

HK Jewels, the retail jewellery arm of the renowned Hari Krishna Group, today announced its foray into the state of West Bengal. The company launched KISNA Store at Darjeeling, which is owned by Mr. Amit Choudhary, company’s first franchisee in West Bengal. Situated in the Siliguri district, with 700~800 sq. ft. store and showcases a diverse range of collection across both the value for money and premium segments. The company has more than 3400 plus retail outlets all over India.

Commenting on the launch of the Darjeeling store, Parag Shah, Director, HK Jewels, said, “West Bengal owing to its rich legacy and design sensibilities is a key market for us and we have set foot with our first store in Darjeeling today. We are happy to partner our franchisee, Mr. Choudhary for being a part of KISNA family and together, we are determined to become a leading and preferred jewellery point in the Siliguri district. Our presence would enable women of Siliguri to fulfill their aspirations.We expect the recent developmental measures announced for Darjeeling especially in industrial clusters, tourism, horticulture etc to improve disposable income of its people. We also look forward to expand further into newer towns in the state in the near future”.

The company 58 KISNA Super Normal Mass Consumer Contact (SNMCC), is in progress for its unique pre-festive season experiential event. KISNA plans to host a total of 85 such events byNovember 2021 and expand its brand visibility to garner rich insights to customize its future collections for the evolving customers across tier 2 and 3 cities and towns. Each SNMCC event is likely to attract an average attendance of 3000+ people.

Established as a partnership firm in May 2002, HK Jewels was converted into a private limited company to cater to the domestic diamond studded jewellery and plain jewellery market in 2009. The company launched its flagship brand ‘KISNA’ in 2005 and recently forayed into manufacture of plain gold jewellery.
